What's Pure Happiness???
It's Pure Happiness is a blog of things I like, love or find inspiring.
It might be pictures, quotes, songs, books, products or foods.
Basically, it's things that make up a life of Pure Happiness.

Best Things !!!
The 'best things in life aren't things' post is about appreciating non 'things' in life. Non material things. (And yes, I realise sometimes some of what I write could be classified as a 'thing' but its the idea that the best things arent the material possessions).
1) That feeling when, after exercising so hard you couldnt catch you breath, your heart rate finally slows enough that you can breathe again.
2) Finally getting to smooth on some lipbalm after being conscious of how dry your lips are.
3) Hearing a story so uplifting that your eyes prickle with tears
4) Cold wind on your cheeks when you are rugged up and otherwise warm. Its kind of refreshing and uplifting.

52 Lists: Ways to Love Others
52 Lists' is a blog activity started by Moorea-seal, based on a book called 'List Yourself'.
Self reflection always appeals to me, so I thought I would give it a go. I'm months behind, but I thought I might just go through them at my own pace now.
Week 6: List The Ways In Which You Can Love Others
- Be kind, compassionate and empathetic to all I meet
- Treat people with respect and dignity
- Help as many people as I can (practically or emotionally, big or small)
- Send cards/letters/presents to those I love
- Give hugs
- Give compliments
- Smile
- I can encourage others
- I can supervise/mentor others, both officially and unofficially
- Attempt never to dash peoples hopes or question their dreams, regardless of what I think
- Surprise others with something they would love
- Support people in whatever capacity they may need
- I can donate (either time or material things) to those less fortunate
- I can write reviews of products or services
- Comment more on blogs that I read and love
- Be happy and be the best me I can
- Take interest in other people and the things they are interested in
- Care for them when they are sick or not coping
It will be really interesting to look back on these in a week, a month, a year or more and see how it has changed. Part of the reason I love doing these things is because they are so reflective of your current 'at this very moment' self, and therefore, even if I did this again tomorrow, I am sure some of the things would be different.

Mini Reviews - Handcreams
Here is a mini-review of a bunch of handcreams that I use.
Neutrogena Norwegian Formula Hand Cream. This is my go to handcream for super dry winter hands. The formula is very thick (almost like a vaseline you left in the sun for awhile) and has a slightly weird ‘non’ scent. This cream takes ages to rub in as it is so thick, so don’t use too much, however it is brilliant at repairing chapped hands.
I love …… coconut and cream super soft hand lotion. This handcream smells delicious, however, for people who love that overly coconut smell, this isn’t for you. This smells mostly of the ‘cream’ part of the name, with just a touch of coconut. The cream is reasonably thick and rubs in quickly. There is a slight greasy feel for a minute or two, but this then sinks in and hands feel moisturised but not greasy.
Essence 24h hand protection balm - Caramel Hot Chocolate (winter edition). This handcream is very lightly scented, but the scent is a caramel, hot choc powder type smell. The cream is thick, rich and moisturising. It does take awhile to rub in and leaves a slight 'creamy' feeling residue.
Neutrogena Deep Moisture Handcream Butter Cream. I tried this handcream because I love my other Neutrogena handcream and I love vanilla/caramel/buttery scents. I like this hand cream but it is nowhere near as nourishing as the other Neurtrogena handcream. The butter cream smell does smell sweet and buttery, although everytime I use it, there are a few seconds of ‘oh, that smells a bit weird’ before it settles into something nicer. It feels like a lighter cream and melts in quickly.
Aveeno Intense Relief Handcream. This handcream moisturises well, sinks in really fast and doesn’t leave a greasy residue. The tube claims that it lasts through washing hands – I’d say this is true, as my hand still feel moisturised afterward. The only thing I don’t like about this cream is the smell. Its not particularly strong, but it isn’t nice.Essence 24h hand protection balm - Caramel Hot Chocolate (winter edition). This handcream is very lightly scented, but the scent is a caramel, hot choc powder type smell. The cream is thick, rich and moisturising. It does take awhile to rub in and leaves a slight 'creamy' feeling residue.
I really like this handcream and will make sure I look out for more in the Essence range.

Wishlist
Here are a few things I have been lusting over lately. If only I had endless money ....
Evans Scarlett and Jo Blue Side Panel dress.
I'm desperate for this dress. I have seen so many bloggers wearing this and they all look amazing. I'd choose blue, but thats mainly because I dont have many blue dresses, but I like all the colours.
I'm intrigued by lace dresses, and this one looks like the perfect mix of classy and sexy. I'd get the oxblood colour.
I like the draping, the neckline and the front 'split' of this dress.
I love love love the colours in this dress, it would be perfect to brighten up my work clothes. I have one small concern though; the colouring on the back does seem to have blue blotches in a slightly weird placings. Still, I would love to own this dress.
Oh I so badly want to win the lotto/miraculously find myself earning 4 times more than I am now/be gifted all these items.
