What's Pure Happiness???

It's Pure Happiness is a blog of things I like, love or find inspiring.
It might be pictures, quotes, songs, books, products or foods.
Basically, it's things that make up a life of Pure Happiness.

Never Give Up

Never Give Up ~ A Zen Koan

Two frogs were happily hopping around when they saw a big bucket in front of them. They were both so interested that they couldn’t control themselves- they decided to jump onto rocks around them and see if they could find out what was inside the bucket.  When they couldn’t see from this vantage point they decided to jump in together, splashing into a bucket of cream.
At first they were thrilled and drank and drank until they could drink no longer … and then they realised that they couldn’t get out. Each time they jumped, they hit the slippery sides of the bucket and slid back in. They kept trying and trying until the bigger one said “I can do this no longer, I am too tired.” He gave up and drowned.
The little frog told himself ‘I’d rather die trying to get out of here than just give up and sink to the bottom’. He continued to paddle and paddle then he’d try to jump, only to hit the side and slip down again. This went on for some time until as he was paddling he felt something solid under his foot. He stepped on to this solid thing, jumped, and he was out of the bucket. By continuing to paddle, he’d churned the cream into butter, and was able to jump out.

Never give up, for we never know when the moment where everything will change will come.

Wish List - Monif C

 Oh my gosh

I want this dress sooooooooooooooooo bad.
It's a Monif C 'Nelli' Ruched Dress, in Purple. (You can also get it in Black). I never think anything would look good on me, but I think I could actually rock this dress. It is amazing. Must get me this dress.

They also have a great convertible (Marilyn) dress, which can be worn about a zillion different ways. You can get it long or short, and in a bunch of different colours (grey, green, orange, red, blue etc).
I'd love to give one of these dresses a go - i love the idea that one dress can change into so many different styles. If you want to have a look at some of the ways it can be worn, check out the website.

ahhhhhhhhhhh, love.

Bamboo

Sara Lee Chocolate Pie

Sara Lee Chocolate Pie is sooooooo delicious.
Its made so that you can have it hot (tastes like pie crust with a chocolate cake/pudding filling) or so that you can have it cold (crust doesnt taste quite as good, with a cake mixture/choc sauce type fill).

My fave is definitely cold - but then again, i love licking the beaters after making a cake.

You can also get them in a pack of 4 - so then you can try it both hot and cold !!!

This is my new fave treat.

Best Things in Life

The 'best things in life aren't things' post is about appreciating non 'things' in life.

Today its all about spring time
- the sweet smell of spring flowers - jasmine, orange blossom and that gorgeous purple sherbert tree
- the warm breeze
- the feel of the sun on your back
- getting to wear all your skirts or dresses again
- the bright colours of nature - the flowers, the new growth on trees
- that feeling that you get when the weather is warming up and its bright and sunny outside, sort of a feeling of hope

*** ok, technically, some of these points are 'things' - but i think the saying is more about 'things' being material possessions, which these are not.
